2025 Season is Coming!
Our tentative start date is July 15th, 2025. We will contact employees by phone (usually text message) or email to advise you of your exact start date. Our experienced detasselers may start a day or two ahead of our new staff. If this is your first time corn detasseling, we will show you the ropes on day 1!
2025 Rates of Pay
Students: $16.20/hour (student minimum wage)
Staff age 18+: $17.20/hr (minimum wage)

About Pinco Detasseling
Pinco Detasseling is owned and operated by Adrien & Nicole Pinsonneault . Pinco has been detasseling area corn fields for decades. Our company detassels corn exclusively for Pride Seeds and fields are primarily located in Chatham, Wallaceburg, Pain Court and Grande Pointe. We provide transportation to the fields for our workers with pick-up locations throughout Chatham-Kent. Our seasons typically begin in July and last approximately 2.5-3 weeks. Detasselers must be at least age 13 to hire. We look forward to working with you!
