What You Will Need To Bring With You...

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

  • Closed toe & heel shoes (hiking boots or running shoes are great)
  • Long pants and long sleeve shirt are recommended
  • Rain jacket and pants or garbage bag are recommended (for rain or morning dew)
  • Rubber boots (for rain and morning dew)
  • Sunscreen
  • Bug spray
  • A backpack to keep belongings secured in

Water/Food

  • 3 to 4 litres of water
  • Good sized lunch with plenty of snacks
  • A small cooler with ice packs to keep food/drinks cool

All Crews Are Equipped With

  • Drinking water supply
  • First aid kit
  • Hand disinfectant
  • Safety equipment (hats with mesh, mask or bandana, safety glasses and gloves)
  • Emergency plan

Important Information

 

  • We have several pick up locations in and around Chatham-Kent Shown Here.
  • Please arrive at the pickup location at least 5 minutes early.
  • We will work even if its raining.
  • You are expected to work on the days requested and must notify your supervisor of an upcoming absence or if you are sick.
  • We will provide you with a hat, safety glasses and gloves

Rates of Pay

2025 RATES:

Students:  $16.20/hr  + 4% vacation pay

Adults:  $17.20/hr + 4% vacation pay

Crew Leaders: $18.00 - $20.00/hr + 4% vacation pay

  • All travel time paid from pick up point in the morning to drop off location at end of work day
  • All travel time paid in between field locations
  • Not paid for lunch time
